    Bojana is a dispute resolution attorney from Serbia, particularly focusing on international arbitration. The predominant focus of her work experience relates to investment arbitrations, in which she represented clients in several multimillion Euro disputes arising from the investments made in major financial, construction and agricultural companies.

    Ms. Bilankov has also represented clients in high-end commercial arbitration cases which concerned various industry sectors. She is further experienced in advising broad client roster in domestic and cross-border corporate and commercial litigations.

Sandiip Bhammer is a Co-founder and the Managing Partner of Green Frontier Capital, India’s first green-tech fund focused on investing in early-stage companies. Mr. Bhammer is an Adjunct Professor of Sustainable Finance at the Isenberg School of Business at U Mass Amherst. He was also a Co-Portfolio Manager of the DA Capital South-Asia Investment Fund, based in New York City.

Considered a “Super Angel” by his peers, Mr. Bhammer has been an early investor in many successful start-ups across globally. He serves on the Advisory Boards of Bridge Point Capital (USA), Carbyne Inc (Israel/USA), Clip Bike (USA), Moocho (USA), The Newlab Group (USA), Nutrifresh Farm Tech (India) and CHUPPS (India).

Mr. Bhammer has an M.B.A. from the Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University, an M.Sc. (Finance) and B.S. (Honors) in Business Administration from the Wallace E.   • Sophie Nappert

    Ms. Sophie Nappert is an independent arbitrator at 3 Verulam Buildings. She previously served as the Head of International Arbitration at Dentons LLP. She obtained an LL.B., BCL from McGill University and an LL.M. from King’s College London. She is dual-qualified as an Avocat of the Bar of Quebec, Canada and as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales, and is invited for lectures at Harvard Law School, Columbia Law School and McGill University.

    Ms. Nappert is an award-winning lecturer and the first female recipient of the Global Arbitration Review Award for Best Speech in 2016 for her Inaugural EFILA Annual Lecture on International Investment Arbitration: Escaping from Freedom? The Dilemma of an Improved ISDS. She delivered the 2018 Proskauer Lecture on International Arbitration, Disruption Is The New Black, which was also shortlisted for Best Speech at the 2019 GAR Awards.

    She has been appointed as Chair or Arbitrator in innumerable international arbitrations, covering commercial, energy, infrastructure and investment disputes. She was ranked in Global Arbitration Review’s Top 30 Female Arbitrators Worldwide. She also authored a Commentary on the 2010 UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. She has made groundbreaking contributions to the Nexus between AI & Blockchain and arbitration, supplemented by Saïd Business School, University of Oxford’s Programme on Blockchain Strategy.

  • Amanda Lee

    Ms Amanda Lee FCIArb is an international arbitrator and has founded the forums of Careers in Arbitration and ARBalance. She obtained her LL.B. (Hons.) from Aberystwyth University and completed her Legal Practice Course from The University of Law. She is admitted to the Supreme Court of the U.S. Bar, the New York State Bar, and as a Solicitor-Advocate in the High Court of England and Wales. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.Ms Lee serves as the Director of ArbitralWomen and was the first female Global Chair of the CIArb Young Members’ Group. She is the Professional Ambassador for Aspiring Solicitors, and has extensive experience advising clients, and serving as the sole arbitrator, in ad hoc and institutional international arbitrations covering disputes in energy, insurance, procedural matters and banking. She is experienced in commercial litigation and Appellate/Privy Council experience dealing with matters concerning private equity and restructuring of companies. She has been recognized in the inaugural Legal 500 UK Arbitration Powerlist as a ‘Rising Star’ and the 2021 Lawdragon 500 Global Litigation Lawyers Guide. She was recently also appointed as a Member of the Advisory Board of Indonesia International Arbitration Center.

  • Dr. Aniruddha Rajput

    Dr. Aniruddha Rajput (PhD, NUS Faculty of Law and LL.M., LSE) is a Member of the United Nations International Law Commission and served as the Chairperson of the Drafting Committee, 69th Session, 2017. His areas of expertise are general international law, dispute resolution, boundary disputes, law of the sea, international investment law and international trade law.

    He practices as a Consultant, International Law and International Arbitration with Withersworldwide. He was a Member of the Study Group – Law Commission of India: Committee on Indian Model Bilateral Investment Treaty (2015). He was the Additional Advocate General, Jharkhand in the Supreme Court of India in 2016. Alongside authoring countless books and publications, Dr. Rajput is a Member of the Board of Studies at the South Asian University, Associate Editor of the Manchester Journal of International Economic Law, and Practitioner-in-Residence at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, since 2017. He was integral in drafting the Arbitration and Conciliation Rules for London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA)-INDIA, the Arbitration and Mediation Rules of Delhi HC Arbitration Centre, and in deliberating the ‘Proposed Amendments to Arbitration Act, 1996’

  • Retd. Justice BN Srikrishna

    Retd. Justice BN Srikrishna is a stalwart in the field of arbitration. He had a decorated practice of 23 years at the Bombay High Court, being appointed as a Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court in 1987. He was appointed as a Judge at the Bombay High Court in 1991, heading the Srikrishna Commission on the ’92 Bombay Riots. He ascended to the Supreme Court in 2002, after having served as the Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court for a year.

    His post retirement days have seen him at the forefront of India’s ongoing data privacy battle, anchoring the Data Protection Bill 2019, and the Srikrishna Committee on Telangana in 2010; these are only the more prominent feathers on his cap.

    He currently devotes his unfettered passion for law and unrivaled acuity to the field of arbitration as an independent arbitrator, dispelling judicious wisdom in matters covering education, real estate, and foreign investment, among myriad other things.

  • Julien Chaisse

    Prof. Chaisse is an award-winning scholar and a globally recognized authority on the intersection between international economic law, international dispute resolution, and the transnational law of globalization. His scholarship includes a dozen books and over 60 articles and book chapters which have been cited by international courts/tribunals. Currently, he is a Joint Editor-in-Chief of the Asia Pacific Law Review. As a leading scholar in the field of international economic law, Dr. Chaisse sits on the editorial board of several high-impact international journals.

    He is an active member of the World Economic Forum and serves as Advisory Board member of both the World Free Zone Convention and Asian Academy of International Law. Dr. Chaisse is a member of the Hong Kong’s Government Board of Review (Inland Revenue Ordinance), advisor & partner to the United Nations ARTNET on FDI, and member of the Academic Forum on Investor-state Dispute Settlement. Before joining the CUHK Law Faculty, Prof. Chaisse served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France. He has also advised international organizations and governments on private and public international law issues and assisted with the drafting of legislation in Austria, Azerbaijan, Canada, Ivory Coast, France, Georgia, Mongolia, Morocco, Pakistan, and Vietnam.

  • Dr. Kabir Duggal

    Dr Kabir Duggal PhD, FRSA, FCIArb, FAIADR’s accomplishments are only second to his passion and love for international law. DR. Duggal focuses his practice on international investment arbitration, international commercial arbitration and public international law matters, serving both as counsel and arbitrator. He currently serves as Lecturer in Law at Columbia Law School, specialising in International Investment Law and Arbitration. He is the Managing Editor of The American Review of International Arbitration at Columbia Law School. He attended Government Law College, Mumbai (LLB), University of Mumbai (PGD in Human Rights), NALSAR (PGD in IHL), University of Oxford (BCL), New York University (LLM), Universiteit Leiden (D. Phil, Law) and Harvard University (SJD), and practices as the Senior International Arbitration Advisor at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP.

    He has extensive scholarship through publications and remarkable books like ‘Evidence in Investment Arbitration’, and serves on ICSID Review’s Peer Review Board. He is a Higginbotham Fellow of the American Arbitration Association, recipient of American Bar Association’s Diversity Fellowship, and a Fellow of UK’s Royal Society of Arts. Dr. Duggal has received several accolades for his work in international arbitration and public international law. He has been ranked as the 4th Most Highly Regarded Future Leader in the Americas by Who’s Who Legal (2019) and was the youngest practitioner to be listed in the Global Listing of Arbitrators by Who’s Who Legal (2020).

    His guidance has been passionate, thorough and facilitative, and we aim to do justice to his vision for and faith in ICAR. With his support, we aim to make valuable forays in the rich literature of arbitration.

  • Rekha Rangachari

    Ms Rekha Rangachari serves as the Executive Director of the New York International Arbitration Center. A New York University (B.A.) and University of Miami School of Law (J.D.) alumnus, she serves as Member of New York State Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section’s Executive Committee, Co-Chair of the International Disputes Resolution Committee, Member of the New York City Bar Association’s Women in the Legal Profession Standing Committee. Prior to NYIAC, she was the Director of ADR Services for the NY Commercial Division of American Arbitration Association-International Centre for Dispute Resolution (AAA-ICDR), and Case Counsel for the ICDR. Her passion and commitment to diversity in dispute resolution are evidenced by her service to the New York Corporate InnovAAAtion Team, the Diversity Committee; as a Board Member of the New York Coalition of Women’s Initiatives, and as a Member of ArbitralWomen. Ms Rangachari celebrates her commitment to academic excellence as Associate Editor of the Juris Investment Arbitration Conference Volumes, Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall Law School, and Peer Review Board Member of the American Review of International Arbitration (ARIA) at Columbia Law School.

  • Aakanksha Kumar

    Prof. Aakanksha Kumar is an Associate Professor at JGLS and currently teaches the mandatory course on Alternative Dispute Resolution. She earlier served as an Assistant Professor at the NALSAR University, and has previously also served as an Assistant Professor at the Amity University Chhattisgarh and at the National Law University, Jodhpur where she headed the Centre for Advanced Research and Training in Arbitration Law (CARTAL) and handled activities of the flagship journal – Indian Journal of Arbitration Law (IJAL). She is an alumnus of the HNLU Raipur and secured 15 gold medals for stellar academic performance during undergraduate studies. She then graduated from the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore, with specialized Masters in International and Comparative Law. Recently, in a personal capacity, she has completed working on a project from the NUS’s E W Barker Centre for Law and Business, on the UNCITRAL Model Arbitration Law adoption in Asia, as the India rapporteur with Mr. Harisankar K S. She continues to write in the areas of domestic and international arbitration, and nurtures a special interest in Intellectual Property Law; and also speaks as a guest faculty at CII and CREDAI Arbitration workshops and conferences, and conducts training workshops for police personnel on IP Infringement and piracy; as well as for HEIs on Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace and the UGC Regulations on Prevention of Sexual Harassment at HEIs.
